Crypto Strategist Reveals Top Long-Term Altcoin Picks: Solana and Three More

A prominent crypto strategist and trader, known as Altcoin Sherpa, has shared his top picks for long-term accumulation, highlighting Solana (SOL) and three other altcoins that he believes are poised for growth. With a following of 223,400 on the social media platform X, Sherpa emphasizes that SOL is likely to maintain its upward trajectory as long as it holds above the key support level of $110.

In addition to Solana, Sherpa identifies three other altcoins as strong candidates for long-term investment. These include Rollbit's native token RLB, the layer-1 protocol Saga (SAGA), and Bittensor (TAO), a decentralized blockchain platform focused on machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Sherpa states, "Longer-term buys: RLB (which has been heavily promoted and shows 'real value' plus NFL connections), SAGA looks promising, and TAO is a solid choice at $200 (due to its AI focus). SOL remains a good buy in the $130-$110 range, in my opinion."

Focusing on Saga, Sherpa notes that the token appears to be trading within a stable range after establishing a bottom. He suggests that it could be a good option for dollar-cost averaging (DCA) or spot positions, as it has been consolidating for three months despite the volatility in Bitcoin's price.

As of now, Solana is trading at $133, reflecting a more than 3% increase in the last 24 hours. Rollbit's RLB is priced at $0.094, up 9.34% on the day, while Saga is at $1.53, showing a 13.23% increase. Bittensor's TAO is trading at $276, up 10.71% in the past 24 hours.

In addition to his long-term picks, Sherpa also shares his swing trade recommendations, which include Helium (HNT), a Solana-based asset that connects wireless devices through hotspots, the lending platform Aave (AAVE), and Solana competitor Sui (SUI).

Regarding Helium, Sherpa mentions that it could retest lower levels soon after a recent breakout. He states, "HNT has finally caught my attention. It’s being actively bought up, and its chart is quite unusual. I've been discussing this asset for weeks and have traded it successfully before, purchasing during its recent dip. I'm holding onto it for now, with plans to place additional orders at lower levels."

Currently, Helium is trading at $7.61, down 7.3% in the last 24 hours.
